The village of Lamlash located on the east coast of the island a few miles south of Brodick with stunning views across the bay to Holy Isle. Lamlash is the island’s administrative hub, with Arran War Memorial Hospital, Arran High School, and the local authority offices all sited within the village boundaries. There is a delightful mix of cafes, shops, restaurants, galleries, and public houses. The Clearances Memorial Monument is situated in front of Hamilton Terrace. The village also has a challenging 18-hole golf course with beautiful views looking across the bay to Holy Isle.
