The main lifeline to the island is Caledonian MacBrayne which provides the main ferry service from Ardrossan to Brodick on the Isle of Arran. The journey takes approximately 55 minutes and provides excellent views of the surrounding area. There are approximately 6 daily sailings and up to 53 weekly sailings to Arran.
