Welcome to Steve Forsey Photography
"Images of Wildlife, Nature and Landscapes"
I am a wildlife and landscape photographer, based in the village of Thorpe Willoughby on the outskirts of the historic market town of Selby, North Yorkshire.
The County has a rich diversity of wildlife and fauna within its boundaries. The North Sea coastline on the East Coast, from Whitby to Spurn Point provides some of the most important breeding grounds and nesting sites for wild birds in the country and possibly Europe, namely Bempton Cliffs and Spurn Point. The county also has some of the finest reserves for viewing wildlife in the country including North Cave Wetlands, Blacktoft Sands, Fairburn Ings and Bempton Cliffs just to name a few.
The North Yorkshire Moors and Dales provide some spectacular scenery, from rolling moors to the valley bottoms, and the Vale of York has some stunning historical towns, including York, Pickering, Beverley and Ripon.
I have tried to capture some of those images here and keep adding to them on a weekly basis, especially the Yorkshire Landscapes and Bird Galleries. My most recent Images can be found in the 'Latest Images' folder, whilst you can keep up to date with what I've been up to and where by following my 'Blog' page. Should you wish to contact me then please follow the link to my 'contact page', I look forward to hearing from you.
I hope you enjoy the pictures the website and what Yorkshire has to offer.
